The World Needs More Peacemakers

(English) In this message Ps Lewis talks about the impact of peacemakers in these 2 points:

(Matthew 5:9 NIV) Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

(Acts 9:1-2 NIV) Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord's disciples. He went to the high priest (2) and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem.

(Acts 9:3-6 NIV) As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. (4) He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” (5) “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. (6) “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

(Acts 9:17-18 NIV) hen Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord—Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here—has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” (18) Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized,

1.Receive Jesus Peace (Internal) 

(John 14:27 NIV)  Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

(Acts 13:47-48 NIV) For this is what the Lord has commanded us: “ 'I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.' ” (48) When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.

2.Bring Peace to Others (External)

(1 Peter 3:11 NIV) They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.

(Romans 12:18 NIV) If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men.

(Ephesians 4:26 NIV) “In your anger do not sin” : Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,
