(Matthew 5:10 NIV) Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

(マタイ 5:10 JCB)神の御心に従ったために迫害されている人は幸いです。神の国はそういう人のものだからです。

(Matthew 5:11-12 NIV) Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. (12) Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

(マタイ5:11-12 JCB)わたしの弟子だというので、悪口を言われたり、迫害されたり、ありもしないことを言いふらされたりしたら、それはすばらしいことなのです。(12)喜びなさい。躍り上がって喜びなさい。天の国では、大きな報いが待っているからです。昔の預言者たちも、そのようにして迫害されたことを思い出しなさい。

Acts 3 - Peter and John go to the Temple for Prayer 

使徒3章 - 祈りのために神殿に向かったペテロとヨハネ

(Acts 3:4-10 NIV) Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” (5) So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them. (6) Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” (7) Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. (8) He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. (9) When all the people saw him walking and praising God, (10) they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

(使徒 3:4-10 JCB)二人は立ち止まり、男をじっと見つめました。やがて、ペテロが口を開きました。「私たちをごらん。」(5)彼は何かもらえるのだろうと思って、二人を見上げました。(6)ところが、ペテロは全く意外なことを言ったのです。「あげようにも、お金は持っていないんだ。しかし、ほかのものをあげよう。ナザレのイエス・キリストの名によって命じる。さあ、立って歩きなさい。」(7-8)そう言うなり、ペテロは手を貸して彼を立たせようとしました。すると男は、驚いたことに、足もくるぶしもたちまち強くなり、しっかりと立ち上がったのです。そして、すたすた歩き始めました。ペテロとヨハネが宮に入ると、彼は跳んだりはねたりして、神を賛美しながらついて来ました。(9)中にいた人たちは、神を賛美しながら歩いている男を、じろじろながめました。どうしたことでしょう。(10)いつも「美しの門」で見かける、足の悪い物ごいではありませんか。だれもかれもびっくりするばかりです。

(Acts 4:1-4 NIV) The priests and the captain of the temple guard and the Sadducees came up to Peter and John while they were speaking to the people. (2) They were greatly disturbed because the apostles were teaching the people, proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead. (3) They seized Peter and John and, because it was evening, they put them in jail until the next day. (4) But many who heard the message believed; so the number of men who believed grew to about five thousand.

(使徒 4:1-4 JCB)二人が話しているところへ、祭司たちや神殿の警備隊長、それにサドカイ人（神殿を支配していた祭司階級。ユダヤ教の主流派）たちが来ました。(2)聞いてみると、二人は堂々と、イエスが死者の中から復活したと話しています。これはまずいと思った彼らは、(3)二人を逮捕しましたが、もう夕方だったので、一晩、留置場に入れておくことにしました。(4)しかし、二人の話を聞いた人たちが大ぜい信じ、信者の数は、男だけで五千人に上りました。

(Acts 4:17-20 NIV)​ But to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people, we must warn them to speak no longer to anyone in this name.” (18) Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. (19) But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges! (20) As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

(使徒 4:17-20 JCB)だが、これ以上の宣伝活動はやめさせなければならない。今後イエスのことを人前で語ったら、ただではすまないぞと脅してやろう。」(18)話が決まったところでもう一度二人を呼び入れ、今後いっさいイエスのことを話してはならないと、きつく言い渡しました。(19)しかし、ペテロとヨハネは、きっぱり答えました。「神にではなく、あなたがたに従うことを、神様が望んでおられるとでもお考えなのですか。(20)私たちは、イエスの行われたことやお話しになったことを、知らせないわけにはいきません。」

How can we outlive our Critics? 批判を乗り越える方法は？

1) We will have Trials 私たちはみんな試練を通る

2) We have Jesus 私たちにはイエスがいる

(John 16:33 NIV) “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

(ヨハネ 16:33 JCB)あなたがたも心配しないで、安心していなさい。こんなにも念には念を入れて話したのは、そのためなのですから。確かに、この世では苦難と悲しみが山ほどあります。しかし、元気を出しなさい。わたしはすでに世に勝ったのです。」

3) When we hold onto Jesus, We have Makarios

イエスにしがみつく時、マカリオス(最高の幸せ)がある

(Mark 10:29-30 NIV) “Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, (30) will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and property—along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life.
