The Story of Ruth and Naomi
1. ルツは仕える人
Ruth is Someone Who Serves
(ルツ1:14-17 JCB) 二人の嫁はまた、声を上げて泣きました。そしてオルパは、泣く泣くしゅうとめに別れの口づけをし、自分の郷里へ帰って行きました。しかしルツは、ナオミにすがりついて離れようとしません。(15)「ほら、オルパは里へ帰って行ったわよ。あなたもそうしなさい。」(16)「お願いです、お母さん。私を放り出さないでください。お伴させていただきたいのです。お母さんといっしょに暮らしたいのです。お嫁に来た以上、私もお母さんと同じ民です。お母さんの神様は私の神様です。(17)どうぞ、いつまでもおそばに置いてください。私たちを引き離すものは死だけです。もしおそばを離れでもしたら、主が幾重にも私を罰してくださいますように。」
(Ruth 1:14-17 NLT) And again they wept together, and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law good-bye. But Ruth clung tightly to Naomi.(15)“Look,” Naomi said to her, “your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods. You should do the same.”(16)But Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.(17)Wherever you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord punish me severely if I allow anything but death to separate us!”

Ruth is a Person Who Takes Action in Faith
(ルツ3:3-5 JCB) さあ、私の言うとおりにしておくれ。体を洗って香油を塗り、きれいな服を着て、打ち場へお行き。ただし、あの方が夕食をすますまでは気づかれないようにね。(4)あの方がお休みになる場所をちゃんと見届けてから、そっと入って行き、足もとの覆いをまくって横になりなさい。あとはあの方が、あなたがどうすべきかを教えてくださるでしょう。」(5)「わかりました。おっしゃるとおりにします。」
(Ruth 3:3-5 NLT) Now do as I tell you—take a bath and put on perfume and dress in your nicest clothes. Then go to the threshing floor, but don’t let Boaz see you until he has finished eating and drinking.(4)Be sure to notice where he lies down; then go and uncover his feet and lie down there. He will tell you what to do.”(5)“I will do everything you say,” Ruth replied.(6)So she went down to the threshing floor that night and followed the instructions of her mother-in-law.
